Mortgages are now regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. The FCA is the independent regulator that regulates financial services. Insurance products are sold under Insurance Conduct of Business guidelines. Please note we may record telephone conversations and client meetings to ensure we fully understand your requirements.

What do we do?

We are strong believers in advice. We like to be sure that our clients have the correct type of cover to meet their requirements. We like to be sure our clients fully understand what they have and why we have arranged it. We want to be sure that should a client need to claim the plan we have arranged will pay out the sum assured to the right people at the right time. This is the value of advice.

a little video about life insurance cover....

For our clients we will review your circumstances, discuss your plans and review your existing cover - private or employer provided - and make a recommendation as to the type and amount of cover needed to meet your requirements. This can include any of, or a combination of the following -

  • Mortgage Protection or Term assurance- cover the largest debt you are likely to have
  • Accident, Sickness and unemployment Cover.- ensure a regular income with ASU
  • Income Protection - short term payout for 2-5 years as well as more traditional long term cover
  • Family Income Benefit.- protect your surviving family by giving them a regular income
  • Whole of Life plans - ideal for leaving a legacy or covering funeral expenses
  • Critical Illness Cover- ABI definitions plus offered as well as partial payouts for cancer, heart attack etc
  • Building and Contents Insurance
  • Relevant Life - it’s an alternative, tax-efficient way for an employer to provide a lump sum death benefit for an employee without the need to set up a group life scheme - go to Relevant Life page
  • Care Cover - go to Carecover page

We will discuss your needs and health in detail and make a recommendation to you based on the insurers criteria, claims history and your affordability.

We will also discuss the benefits of placing any plan we arrange for you in a flexible trust and help you with the paperwork.

where possible we will also choose a provider that offers free additional sevices - for example best doctors, virtual /remote GP, prescription service,  councelling assistant, rehabilitation services and second opinion services.

Why do we do what we do?

We have now been in business long enough to know that some of our clients - or their family members - do not have a long and fruitful life. We have had a number of situations where family members contact us with sad news about the death of a client. We have also received calls from clients who have been made redundant or that have suffered serious illness or accident. We know that it is easy for us to tell clients the statistics that we receive from insurance companies and the NHS, but when you have received the call about such sad events you know the statistics are in fact people and their families.
